The Montery Jack non-dairy cheese is tofu based. It's very versatile and can be used to create a variety of different dips. I love all the dips, but my favorite is Variation (B). Everyone who tastes that dip asks where to buy that cheese. Are they ever surprised! But remember, these processed non-dairy cheese are high in fat, so use them only on special occasions or to treat your carnivore friends to a treat they won't believe is plant based.

6 oz.vegan cheese – Monterey Jack (Vegan Gourmet brand)
¼ cp veganaise
1 large garlic clove, minced
3.5 oz jar pimientos
¼ cp chopped green sweet peppers
1 T flat leaf parsley
1 T sun dried tomatoes
½ tsp tumeric
sea salt to taste
Blend all in food processor.

Variations:

A)

6 oz. cheese
1 garlic clove, minced
¼ cp chopped kalamata olives
¼ cp jarred roasted red peppers, chopped
½ tsp tumeric
Italian seasonings – 1 tsp dried


(B)

6 oz. cheese
2 minced garlic cloves
fresh or dried Italian seasonings to taste
Blend all in food processor. Serve with your favorite ‘healthy’ cracker or pita bread.
