Quick, easy and nutritious!
1 1/2 cps frozen blueberries
1 cp frozen banana chunks (Make sure you peel before freezing the banana!)
1/2 to 1 cp fortified non-dairy milk (I like to use almond milk here.)
1 T apple juice concentrate
Combine all ingredients in blender or high powered Vita mixer, and process till smooth. This is best served immediately. Leftovers can be stored in frig up to 1 day or frozen for a week.
(For a thicker smoothie, use less non-dairy milk.)
