Nutrient packed cakes - protein loaded quinoa and immune boosting sweet potatoes.

1/2 cup quinoa
1/2 cup organic, sprouted green lentils or other lentils
1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
3 T diced red onion
2 T Braggs Organic Sprinkle seasoning
1 T chili powder
1/2 tsp sea salt
pinch ground black pepper
1 cup cooked and mashed sweet potato
salsa or other condiments of your choice


Preheat oven to 350.

Cook the quinoa and lentils separately, according to packaged directions.

Drain the lentils well. In a medium bowl, mix the quinoa, lentils, red pepper, onion, seasoning, chili powder, salt and pepper. Add the mashed sweet potato and combine using hands until the mixture sticks together. Form into patties and bake for 10 minutes. Carefully turn patties over and bake for another 10 minutes.
