Pulled pork! Never!! Try this great combination for pulled seitan. Here you get a great source of protein without the cholesterol, saturated fat, and growth hormones, compliments of porky!

1 small onion, chopped
6 garlic cloves, minced
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1T horseradish
2 tsps molasses
2 tsps cider vinegar
1 tsp lemon zest
16 oz. seitan, shredded


Saute onion in a little water for 7 minutes till soft. Add the garlic and cook for another minute. Stir in the tomato sauce, and cook for 3 minutes. Add the horseradish, molasses, vinegar, lemon zest and 1/2 cup water. Simmer over low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Then fold in the cooked, shredded seitan.
