This is a simple, Food for Life appetizer that is chock full of fiber, protein and calcium, just to name a few of its gifts! And, remember, that black beans, along with other legumes, are chock full of healthy protein, calcium, all important fiber, and many other healthy nutrients.

1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 cup organic salsa (mild, medium or hot - your choice!)
1/2 - 1 tsp cumin (depending on how zippy you like it!)

Mix all ingredients in a food processor till well blended.

Serve with baked tortilla chips and/or some sliced veggies.

This dip makes for a quick, healthy lunch, tossed in a wrap with some grated carrot, chopped scallions, diced tomatoes and greens.
