My friend and Food for Life Class assistant, Karen, shared this recipe. After she described it and shared how her guests responded to it, I just had to share with everyone here. Sounds yummy and I'll be making it tonight (3/3/15)!!


1/4 cup almond milk
hand full of walnuts
1 tsp vanilla extract
Blend above ingredients till smooth. (Use Vita-Mixer or high speed blender.)

Add:
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen dark sweet cherries (Costco sells frozen, organic dark cherries.)
Blend well.
Put in dessert cups and top with shavings of dark, organic chocolate.
(Trader Joe's sells organic dark chocolate - 73%.)
