Thanks to Karen, my Food for Life volunteer and dear friend, extraordinaire, who shared this tasty treat with class participants.

Ingredients:

2 cps chocolate chips
1 cp organic peanut butter
1/2 - 1 cp of any of the following ingrediens: raisins, craisins, chopped walnuts, sunflower seeds, crunchy cereal

Combine chocolate chips and peanut butter in top of double boiler over hot not boiling water until melted.
Remove from heat.
Add other ingredients.
Drop by spoonfuls into paper nut cups.
Chill until firm.
Store in refrigerator or freezer.
Though not exactly a low fat dessert, this is a treat to be enjoyed after a week of healthy eating. Just a little nibble of dark chocolate, nuts, and raisins satisfies and bestows you with some great antioxidants higher than those in green tea and red wine. Sooo, taste and let it melt in your mouth!
