• 2 lbs mashed red potatoes, salted and peppered
  • 1 bag (13.7 oz) Frozen Gardein Beefless Ground
  • 1 garlic clove, diced
  • 1/2 yellow onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2-3 T tomato paste
  • 3-4 T crushed tomatoes
  • 1 T soy sauce
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 cup frozen peas

Preheat oven to 325.

Cube and boil potatoes with salt and pepper to taste for 15-20 minutes till tender. Then mash and set aside.

Saute the onions, garlic and carrots in a little water or veggie broth in large fry pan on medium heat till tender.

Add to that the salt, pepper, tomato paste and frozen beefless ground and heat thoroughly. Then add the soy sauce, thyme, crushed tomatoes, and frozen peas, and heat all thoroughly.

Place above mixture into a casserole dish, cover with the mashed potatoes and bake in oven at 325 for approximately 30 minutes till potatoes are browned.
