This recipe from fabulous cookbook, "Forks Over Knives". Love this sauce in my stir-fries.
Makes 3/4 cup. You can double or triple recipe.
1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/3 cup veggie broth
1/4 cup date molasses or brown rice syrup
2 tsps minced fresh ginger
2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
2 tsps arrowroot powder (or cornstarch for thickening)
Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan and cook over medium heat until thickened, about 5 minutes. This can be kept in frig for up to 1 week.
